Harden

Delete your Harden account

Harden is made by New River Codeworks LLC. An account is optional — it is needed only for the AI Coach. Everything else in the app works without one.

There are two separate deletions

They are genuinely separate, and doing one does not do the other. Most people who want to erase everything will want to do both.

  • Your account lives on our server. Deleting it removes your sign-in and the rows tied to it.
  • Your history lives on your phone. Deleting your account does not touch it, and uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

Delete your account from inside the app

This is the fastest way, and it is immediate.

  • Open Settings.
  • Choose Account, then Delete account.
  • Confirm twice. The app then signs you out and offers to delete the data on your phone as a separate step.

Delete your account if you no longer have the app

If you have already uninstalled Harden, or you cannot sign in, email support@newrivercodeworks.com from the address you used to sign in and ask us to delete your account. Write “Delete my Harden account” in the subject line.

We use the address you write from to find the account, so please send it from that address. If you cannot, tell us the address you signed up with and we will ask you to confirm it another way before we delete anything — we will not delete an account on an unverified request.

We aim to action requests within 30 days.

What deleting your account removes

Your sign-in itself, and the records stored against it on our server:

  • any readings, daily summaries and notes held against your account;
  • Coach messages stored on the server;
  • your Coach usage counts and monthly allowance records.

What it does not remove

We would rather tell you this plainly than have you assume otherwise:

  • The data on your phone. Readings, history, notes, workouts and plans stay exactly as they are. Delete them in the app under Settings → Data → Delete all data, which also asks twice and cannot be undone.
  • Your device backup. If Android backed up the app before you deleted anything, that copy sits in your own Google account and we cannot see or reach it. Restoring it can bring data back.
  • Export files you saved or sent elsewhere. Once a file leaves the app we have no way to reach it.
  • Emails you have sent us. Ask and we will delete those too.
  • Operational logs that record that a request happened, and records held by the companies that run our infrastructure and AI processing under their own retention schedules.
